Paradigm Estimate is a web application hosted in Azure cloud ecosystems. It uses a web front end built with React, HTML/CSS, with a Java back end that uses Hibernate and Postgres databases. The Java staff is hosted through Docker containers which is built on Kubernetes cluster. This product is the hub for numerous related services and integrations. We have lots of microservices architecture. A team constantly growing, learning, and experimenting with other technologies and including 3D modeling.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work on a variety of teams & projects, enhance and maintain the code for the back end API’s and services.
- Be responsible for supporting and investigating issues involving released software.
- Plan & implement data model structures for scalability.
- Collaborate on designs, with a focus on business requirements, computing & data storage.
- Integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Interact with the QA team to meet quality & regulatory standards.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- 5+ years of experience in Java.
- Good knowledge of Hibernate framework.
- Experience with building REST APIs.
- Good knowledge of Postgres SQL.
- Familiar with developing cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure Cloud Infrastructure).
- Upper-Intermediate English proficiency.
WOULD BE A PLUS
- Experience using C# or Typescript.
WORK SCHEDULE
- Mon – Fri (2-3 overlapping hours to CST is required).
