Project description
MoneyPhone is a SaaS solution which offers a blend of both cloud and VPS hosted infrastructure. At MoneyPhone we aim for a secure and scalable cloud infrastructure, using Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Heroku Cloud Application Platform as our primary cloud infrastructure providers. Our VPS hosted or on-premise solution is deployed in Docker containers.Our setup is horizontally scalable. The cloud application is hosted on Heroku containers called dynos while the VPS hosted solution uses Docker for its containers. The container model allows the app to scale by increasing the number of deployed nodes based on resource demands.
Responsibilities
- Support dev team in their daily activities
- Design and implement new parts of infrastructure
- Analyze infrastructure metrics and propose ways to improve it
- Manage CI/CD tools
- Daily communication with the rest of the team
Requirements
- AWS & Heroku experience
- Python scripting
- Linux knowledge
- Networking & DNS knowledge
- Docker & Docker compose
- Monitoring and logging tools
- RDBMS, PostgreSQL in particular
- Security — best practices for clouds and Linux
Would be a plus
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Understanding of banking and of bank products
- Experience of working in a fast-paced Fintech company will be valued
