I was interviewed for the position of BA, communicated with HR Igor

I was immediately alarmed that the interview with HR would last an hour. During the interview, Igor asked unrelated questions. Not so personal to stop the conversation immediately, but it was quite uncomfortable. Then somehow the topic of Russia’s war in Ukraine came up, and Igor started talking about his friend from Russia, who is very nice and not all Russians are bad. I write ‘somehow’, but it was clear that HR was specifically bringing the conversation to this topic.The day after the interview in the center of Vinnytsia, Russia killed dozens of people. I am from Vinnytsia and on the same day I wrote that I don’t want to have anything to do with people who justify Russians, and in response I received that ‘collective responsibility is an element of totalitarian thinking’.
